Sd. Singh et al., HUMORAL AND CELLULAR IMMUNE-RESPONSE OF QUAIL TO PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL INJURIES, Indian Journal of Animal Sciences, 64(11), 1994, pp. 1115-1117
The humoral and cellular immunity in quail in response to physical and
various chemical injuries revealed a transient suppression of humoral
antibody response (4-8 days). Cellular immunity, on the other hand, w
as evident in phyto-haemagglutinin and dinitrochlorobenzene induced in
juries, but it was not evident in thermal as well as turpentine and xy
lene-induced injuries.
