Abstract
In this article, the various types of modern knee prostheses and indic ations for their use are reviewed. The importance of preoperative radi ographs in guiding surgery is explained. The radiographic assessment o f knee prosthesis alignment and the appearance of complications such a s loosening, wear, and infection are discussed.
