M. Glowacka et al., THE EFFECT OF EXOGENOUS RHIZOBIAL LIPOPOLYSACCHARIDE ON SYMBIOSIS OF RHIZOBIUM-LEGUMINOSARUM BV TRIFOLII WITH RED-CLOVER, Acta Societatis Botanicorum Poloniae, 65(3-4), 1996, pp. 307-309
The effectivity of symbiosis of Rhizobium leguminosarum by. trifolii w
ith red clover in the presence of exogenous lipopolysaccharide (LPS) p
reparation was measured as a yield of green mass of infected plants. T
he addition of complete LPS that had been obtained from homological Rh
izobium strains influenced significantly the growth of plants. In the
presence of defective LPS of Rhizobium mutant the effectivity of symbi
osis did not change.
