Abstract
A girl is reported in whom an immature teratoma of the rectum presente d with prolapse per anum, Rectal teratomas are rare, and presentation as a prolapsed pedunculated polyp per anum is reported here for the fi rst time. The patient was managed by surgical excision alone and is re currence-free after 3 years.
