Abstract
Phimosis and paraphimosis are usually treated surgically by circumcisi on or a dorsal slit. However, circumcision may be undesirable for a nu mber of reasons, and a dorsal slit results in an unsatisfactory cosmet ic appearance. We describe a new technique, the ventral slit, which is effective and results in a normal appearance of the prepuce.
