Abstract
A new instrument for hemispherical radiation heat flux measurement is proposed. It is based on the theory of blow of the boundary layer, tak ing into account that at the critical mass flow rate through the porou s surface the thermal boundary layer is blown off and only radiation f lux from high temperature gases reaches the porous surface. With the m easurement of blow of gas flow and the temperature of the porous mater ial, the respective heat flux is obtained.
