Abstract
GC method has been used to studies on the reaction between adsorbed hy drogen and oxygen on Fe/Al2O3 and Ni/Al2O3 as well as Fe-Ni/Al2O3 cata lysts. There is a crucial difference between reactivity of hydrogen to ward oxygen on ferrous and nickel catalysts. In the bimetallic system, nickel acts as activator of hydrogen reactivity.
