K. Chrzanowski, INFLUENCE OF OBJECT-SYSTEM DISTANCE ON ACCURACY OF REMOTE TEMPERATURE-MEASUREMENT WITH IR SYSTEMS, Infrared physics & technology, 36(3), 1995, pp. 703-713
An investigation on the effect of the difference between the values of
the distance object-system under calibration and real work conditions
on the accuracy of the temperature measurement with IR systems has be
en carried out. The formulas that enable determination of the temperat
ure measurement errors due to this difference for any measurement cond
itions and system parameters has been developed. It has been shown tha
t the errors due to this source can be significant.
