Abstract
We searched for anomalous gamma rays in S-35 decay as a possible expla nation for the kink in the beta-decay spectrum, which is claimed to be due to the emission of the heavy 17 keV neutrino. The intensity and s pectrum of gamma rays we observed are consistent with those of the ext ernal and internal bremsstrahlung of the beta rays. It is concluded th at the gamma-ray spectrum has no structures which may mimic the claime d kink.
