Abstract
Dielectric constant epsilon, loss tan delta, and conductivity sigma of ZnF2-PbO-TeO2 glasses (composition 20, 12, 68 by wt%), subjected to X -ray irradiation for 1 h in the presence of a dc field up to 15 kV cm- 1, are measured in the frequency range 2 x 10(2) to 10(7) Hz and in th e temperature range 30 to 200-degrees-C. The space charge and dipolar effects observed from this study are discussed in the light of point d efects created in these glasses.
