Abstract
Two new flavonol glycosides, kaempferol 3-0-beta-neohesperidoside-7-0- alpha-rhamnoside and quercetin 3-0-beta-neohesperidoside-7-0-alpha-rha mnoside were identified in the fresh leaves of Sedum telephium ssp. ma ximum. The known compounds, quercetin, kaempferol and their 3-glucosid es, 7-rhamnosides and 3,7-dirhamnosides were also identified. All comp ounds were characterized by means of chemical and spectroscopic method s. NOE experiments were performed to detect the glycosidic bond at the 7-hydroxyl of the aglycone molecules.
