Abstract
Australia should be alarmed at the Indonesian Government's plans to co nstruct nuclear power stations to solve its energy shortage, according to August Schlapfer and Dora Marinova. They discuss the risks involve d with nuclear technology in relation to the specific geographic, econ omic and political situation of Indonesia, and argue that Australia mu st demonstrate a strong interest in any energy decisions made in Indon esia.
