Abstract
This paper considers questions of monitoring the quality of mass-produ ction camera lenses. The paper explains the main principles of a semia utomatic method of monitoring the quality of fixed- and variable- focu s lenses, based on measuring several values of the modulation-transfer coefficient. The layout and a description of the test installation ar e shown.
