Abstract
The electrocatalytic behavior of platinum microparticles produced by e lectrodeposition on vitreous carbon electrodes modified by a polyvinyl pyridine film was studied in the reactions of methanol and formic acid oxidation. The role of dimensional effect in electrocatalytic process es was demonstrated. Preparation of highly active catalysts with a low platinum content by the deposit formation within the polymer matrix w as shown.
