Abstract
The current study reports the possible changes in the copper metabolis m of the crab Oziotelphusa senex senex exposed to a sublethal concentr ation of atrazine. The alterations observed in the synthesis of pigmen t, hemocyanin, and its affinity to oxygen suggest the existence of res piratory distress in the crab as a consequence of atrazine toxicity.
