Abstract
We describe here a polyherbal preparation, which can be used as cream or pessary, Its formulation has potent spermicial action in vitro and its contraceptive efficacy is high in rabbits and monkeys, It has in a ddition, anti-microbial action on Chlamydia trachomatis, Candida albic ans and Gardenerella vaginalis, amongst the vaginal pathogens tested i n vitro in course of Phase I clinical trials conducted in India and ab road with this formulation,
