cyclodextrin-diethanolamine and beta-cyclodextrin-pentane-1,5-diol, th
e flexible guest molecules have identical conformations; they form the
same intermolecular contacts, with a structure-stabilizing N-H...O hy
drogen bond in the former being replaced by a C-H...O interaction in t
he latter.
