Abstract
We discuss isoelectronic early n-d impurities (Sc, Y, Lu) diluted in F e, using an extended Slater-Koster formulation. The solution can be ob tained exactly within the Hartree-Fock approximation and estimating th e hopping elements between impurity and host. The local impurity magne tic moment and hyperfine fields are calculated with a fair agreement w ith experiment.
