MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF (MN1-XFEX)(3+DELTA) GE ALLOYS

We have made X-ray, magnetization and electric resistivity measurement s for (Mn1-xFex)(3+delta)Ge with the D0(19)-type structure, and determ ined the x-dependence of the Neel temperature, the Curie temperature a nd a transition temperature from the triangular to the collinear magne tic structure for the alloys with delta = 0.1 and 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.34. An abrupt change at the transition s hows a remarkable thermal hysteresis.
