Abstract
LaNi3 shows a non-ferromagmetic ordered phase in zero field below abou t 50 K, and metamagnetism in non-zero field. Zero-field mu SR spectra show an antiferromagnetic phase below about 50 K. From the longitudina l-field mu SR spectra, small Ni moments of about 0.03(mu B) are estima ted.
