Abstract
The release of spontaneous magnetostriction constraints of quasi-amorp hous Fe0.3Dy0.7 ribbon has been detected within the temperature range 270-370 degrees C. This effect has been monitored by magnetization, el ongation and DSC measurements. The quenching rate and the composition are shown to make major contributions to the magnitude of this phenome non.
