A. Lopez et al., MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF GAMMA-FE2O3 SMALL PARTICLES PREPARED BY SPRAY-PYROLYSIS, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 144, 1995, pp. 383-384
Small particles of gamma-Fe2O3 synthesized by spray pyrolysis have bee
n studied by ac susceptibility. They are made out of nanometric crysta
llites resulting in dense and hollow spherical aggregates. The results
show the transition from the superparamagnetic to blocked state. The
anisotropy and magnetic moment per aggregate are less than for single
particles of the same dimensions.
