The correlation between microstructure, saturation magnetostriction co
nstant lambda(s), coercive field and remanence of Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si16.5B6
amorphous alloy after annealing for 1 h at 400-720 degrees C was stud
ied. Very soft magnetic behavior corresponds to the low value of \lamb
da(s)\ and was observed for the nanocrystalline material, obtained aft
er annealing at 480-530 degrees C.
