Abstract
Nanocrystallized films of iron and nickel have been elaborated using l ow-energy cluster beam deposition (LECBD) techniques. Grain size distr ibution is very narrow and close to 5 nm. The approach to saturation i s interpreted in terms of the random anisotropy model. In particular, the anisotropy and inter-grain exchange coupling energies have been de termined.
