Neutron diffraction studies of MBE-grown (111) EuTe/PbTe superlattices
are reported. The EuTe layers exhibit an AF structure consisting of a
ntiferromagnetically coupled (111) spin sheets. The data reveal interl
ayer magnetic coupling accross PbTe spacers with surprisingly large th
icknesses (up to 55 Angstrom), despite the low carrier concentration w
hich rules out any significant RKKY interactions.
