Abstract
We have calculated the Fermi contact term (B-hf), valence charge distr ibution and magnetic moments in thin magnetic Fe films, covered with R u. The core B-hf scales with the magnetic moment with the factor 11.2 T/mu(B). The calculated B-hf agree with experimental data obtained fro m GEMS experiments for thin-film systems.
