Cm. Kinart et Wj. Kinart, THE N-METHYLPROPIONAMIDE WATER-SYSTEM - STUDY OF INTERMOLECULAR INTERACTIONS, Physics and chemistry of liquids, 28(4), 1994, pp. 261-268
The H-1-NMR spectra of liquid binary mixtures, N-methylpropionamide (N
MP)-water, were recorded at 298 K over a wide range of mixed solvent c
ompositions. From these data the values of spectral parameter, Delta d
elta(NMP-H2O) were found. The densities (d(12)) and viscosities (eta(1
2)) of mixed solvent were measured at 298.15K, as well as the dielectr
ic permittivities (epsilon(12)) at 293.15K, 298.15K and 303.15K. From
these new parent data, the values of molar volumes (V-12) and their de
viations from ''ideality'' were calculated. Additionally, the values o
f temperature coefficient of dielectric permittivities (epsilon(12)) w
ere found. These structural parameters as functions of concentration s
uggest the formation of the structures such as clathrate hydrates and
the most stable ''complexes'' (sub-units) of the NMP . 2H(2)O and 3NMP
. 2H(2)O types.
