Abstract
Two methods are used to improve the L3 TEC track resolution at vertex. First, refit the lepton tracks by constrained curvature from high pre cision measurements on electron energy and muon moments. Second, corre ct the average value of track offsets in each half-sector of TEC. Comb ined methods improve the lepton track resolution at vertex from 137 mu 60 mu m.
