We introduce the squeezing, higher moment squeezing and antibunching e
ffect for the q-electromagnetic field, and study these quantum statist
ical properties of eigenstates of the operator a(q)(k) (k greater than
or equal to 3) given by Kuang and Wang [Phys. Lett. A 173 (1993) 1].
The results show that the states have Nth-power squeezing (N=(m+1/2)k,
m=0, 1, 2,...) when k is even, and all of them show the antibunching
effect.
