Abstract
Aqueous solubility and thermal decomposition of the ammonium dioxalato titanyl (NH4)(2)TiO(C2O4)(2). The study of the H2O-(NH4)(2)TiO(C2O4)(2 ) binary system, using solubility measurements, thermogravimetric and X-ray diffraction techniques, allowed the determination of the stabili ty domains of (NH4)(2)TiO(C2O4)(2) . H2O, (NH4)(2)TiO(C2O4)(2) . 1/2H( 2)O and the anhydrous salt. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns are reported for each of the three phases. The solubility diagram shows a peritectic decomposition for both hydrates.
