Abstract
Six months lasting occurrence of cucumber mosaic virus was proved by i nfectious tests and ELISA carried out with pellets obtained after ultr acentrifugation of water sampled at one month intervals from an irriga tion ditch. Possible sources of water contamination and apparent stabi lization effect of clay minerals found to be admixed to the water sedi ments, are discussed.
