Abstract
The density and viscosity of binary mixtures of propanoic acid + benze ne, + toluene, and + o-, + m-, and + p-xylenes have been measured at 2 98.15 K. Excess volumes have been calculated. The interactions existin g between the components have been discussed. The results are used to theoretically justify the validity of the viscosity models.
