Abstract
Hydrometry is a simple approach to measure density of a liquid using l aws of notation. Reference (Standard) hydrometers which are used to ca librate normal hydrometers by comparison process are calibrated by hyd rostatic weighing method. Optimum accuracy may be achieved by hydromet ers only if all relevant corrections are incorporated in the calibrati on process. This paper highlights the salient features of hydrometry.
