F. Labropula et al., A MODEL OF NEAR-SOURCE TURBULENT MIXING, Transactions of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering, 18(4), 1994, pp. 365-383
A simple, physical model is developed to represent mixing between host
and contaminant fluid near a source in a turbulent flow. Advantage is
taken of recent theoretical developments to compare the model results
with those of experiments from continuous point and line sources in g
rid generated turbulence.
