Abstract
The structural elucidation of acetylated ecdysteroids isolated from dr ied roots of Ajuga reptans var. atropurpurea, based on spectroscopic p rocedures, is reported. Among them 2-O-acetyl- and 3-O-acetyl-20-hydro xyecdysone (20E2Ac, 20E3Ac) and 3-O-acetyl-29-norcyasterone (29NCY3Ac) had previously been only partially described and 3-O-acetylcyasterone (CY3Ac) was heretofore unreported.
