Abstract
We explore the possibility of hyperfragment production due to the extr emely intense flux of photons generated by an ultrarelativistic heavy nucleus in distant collision. The cross section is estimated to be acc essible to future experiments at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider a nd Large Hadron Collider. We also discuss its signature and detection.
