Abstract
The technique is described for devascularizing the post-cesarean secti on uterus with bilateral mass ligation of the ascending branches of th e uterine arteries and veins. This 30-year clinical experielzce with 2 65 patients includes the results and complications. Ten patients requi red additional therapy. The effectiveness of this technique makes it a reasonable alternative to hypogastric artery ligation and reduces the need for hysterectomy.
