Ec. Toy et al., TUBOOVARIAN ABSCESS ASSOCIATED WITH CANDIDA-GLABRATA IN A WOMAN WITH AN INTRAUTERINE-DEVICE - A CASE-REPORT, Journal of reproductive medicine, 40(3), 1995, pp. 223-225
Candidal infection has been associated extensively with serious infect
ions. Its role in genital tract infections has consisted largely of vu
lvovaginitis, with serious upper genital tract infection a rarity. A 4

large tuboovarian abscess and recovered only after removal of the abs
cess and treatment with amphotericin B.
