Abstract
The transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) procedure is a well-described means bf treating portal hypertension and its complic ations. Occasionally, the consequences of this shunt prompt the desire for its subsequent obliteration. We report one unsuccessful and one s uccessful method of TIPS occlusion.
