Abstract
A copper HyBrID laser (lambda 510.6, 578.2 nm) is reported, which prod uced an average output power of 9.5 W from an active volume of just 4. 77 cm(3). These figures correspond to a record specific average output power for copper lasers of any type of 2.0 W/cm(3).
