Abstract
We present a catastrophic case pf aplasia cutis congenita from a pregn ancy complicated by elevated maternal serum and amniotic fluid or-feto protein levels and a positive acetylcholinesterase. Delivery occurred at 27 weeks 1 day after premature rupture of membranes with chorioamni onitis. The neonate lacked > 90% of its skin and died.
