Abstract
In this communication, a detailed theoretical performance and economic analysis of conventional solar air heaters with bare plate, single co ver and double cover have been reported. Evaluation of the annual cost (AC) and the annual energy gain (REG) of the collectors has been perf ormed and the ratio AC/AEG is displayed for different combined values of m, L and Z to make it feasible for the users to select optimum desi gn and operational features which correspond to minimum AC/AEG.
