Ap. Gupta et al., SORPTION OF AMMONIA ON CRYSTALLINE POLYELECTROLYTE TANTALUM TUNGSTATE, Indian journal of chemistry. Sect. A: Inorganic, physical, theoretical & analytical, 34(4), 1995, pp. 296-298
A crystalline polyelectrolyte tantalum tungstate (Ta:W::2.568:1) has b
een selected for the sorption of ammonia. Its BET surface area, electr
on micrograph and IR spectra have been reported. The sorption of ammon
ia at 50 degrees and its desorption at 50 degrees and 150 degrees C ha
ve been carried out. Ammonia sorption may be utilized to control the p
ollution caused by exhaust gases of automobiles.
