Abstract
Reaction of bisacetylacetone, biphenyldihydrazone with diamines yielde d new binucleating polyaza macrocycles (H(4)L). Bimetallic macrocyclic chelates of composition M(2)L (M = Cu2+, Ni2+ and Pd2+) have been syn thesized and characterised on the basis of their IR, H-1 and C-13 NMR and mass spectral data.
