Abstract
The results of calculations of charged particle induced reaction cross sections for the production of radioisotopes Tl-201, Pb-201 and Bi-20 1 and for the competing reactions are discussed. The excitation functi ons for the Hg-202(p, xn), Au-197(alpha, xn), Tl-203,Tl-205(p, xn), Tl -203,Tl-205(d, xn), Tl-203,Tl-205(p, xn), Pb-204(p, 4n), Pb-204(p, p3n ), Pb-206(p, 6n), Pb-206(p, p5n), Pb-207(p, 7n), Pb-207(p, p6n), Pb-20 8(p, 8n) and Pb-208(p, p7n) reactions are calculated by the ALICE-87 c ode on the basis of a statistical model in the energy range up to 90 M eV. The comparison with the experimental data on the reaction cross se ctions for 23 reactions shows that the approach used gives satisfactor y results for most reactions except (p, pxn) on natural Tl, (alpha, n) and partially (d, xn). The STAPRE code was used for the calculations of the isomer state excitation functions and some other reactions.
