Ja. Lukin et al., LOW-DIMENSIONAL MAGNETIC-BEHAVIOR OF ALPHA-COC2O4-CENTER-DOT-2H2O, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 140, 1995, pp. 1669-1670
The crystal structure of alpha-CoC2O4 . 2H(2)O suggests a predominant
one-dimensional magnetic interaction. The ac powder susceptibility was
fitted with a 1D Ising model with g-factors determined by EPR. The ma
gnetic heat capacity and chi(p) data delineate a strongly anisotropic
2D Ising system, with J/k similar or equal to -30 K, \J'/J\ similar or
equal to 3 X 10(-3), and an antiferromagnetic transition at T-N= 6.23
+/- 0.02 K.
