Abstract
We present an experimental examination of finite size effects in the t wo isostructural quasi-1D antiferromagnetic Heisenberg systems AgVP2S6 (S = 1) and AgCrP2S6 (S = 3/2) using magnetisation measurements. The results point out the strong qualitative difference between the S = 1 and the S = 3/2 cases.
