Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility data are reported for the divalent metal phosp honates M(II)(RPO(3)) . H2O (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni; R = alkyl, phenyl). T he quasi 2D square lattice formed by the M(II) ions within these compo unds leads to 2D antiferromagnetic properties.
