Abstract
By applying the recoupling techniques for three and four angular momen ta, we have derived the most general energy matrices for these systems with nonequivalent spin values and distinct exchange coupling constan ts. The magnetic susceptibilities of these systems can be calculated b y the standard formula. Some special examples are given.
