Abstract
Field-induced ac-plane birefringence of a distorted triangular lattice
antiferromagnet RbMnBr3 was observed at T = 1.80 K. A magnetic field
was applied parallel to the a-axis. Clear information on the phase bo
undary of the incommensurate-commensurate phase transition at 2.8 T an
d that of the in-c-plane spin-reorientation at 3.9 T is obtained.
